Discover a different kind of coastal getaway at Don Ell RV Resort in Aransas Pass, TX. Our park has been part of Aransas Pass for more than 80 years, and we’re proud to carry that history forward while continuing to improve the property.
Guests notice the trees first. The huge, mature oaks shade much of the park and give it a character that’s hard to recreate. Our pond and its turtles are another favorite. We’re also just behind Conn Brown Harbor, putting fishing, boating, and other coastal activities within easy reach.

The highlight for young visitors is our wildlife-rich pond, where kids love counting the turtles as they surface. It is simple, brochure-free entertainment at its best.
Our location near Port Aransas beaches means the ocean is never far. Between the pond, the nature walks, and the birdwatching, we get a fair number of guests who come for the fishing and stay an extra day for the quiet.
About Our Resort
Don Ell RV Resort has a history that stretches back more than 80 years. A single family ran this park for generations and lived on the property the entire time. We purchased the park from the grandchildren in 2022, and today we’re continuing its story while making improvements for the future.

We're a short trip from the Port Aransas ferry, which puts some of the best beaches and fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast within easy reach. Corpus Christi is about a 30-minute drive, so dining, shopping, and a bigger city's worth of entertainment are never far off.
From Don Ell, you can also explore nearby Rockport, Ingleside, and Portland without giving up the quieter pace of Aransas Pass.

Fisherman's Paradise
If fishing is part of your reason for coming to the Coastal Bend, our location makes getting to the water convenient. Don Ell holds the land levy for Conn Brown Harbor itself, placing the harbor right behind our property. From the park, it's about a 10-minute walk to the harbor itself, roughly a 37-minute walk if you're heading to the boat ramp and pier, or a quick 5-minute drive if you'd rather not carry your gear that far.
Once you're there, you've got the Redfish Bay Marina for docking, plus Coasters and Dorados Restaurant & Bar for something to eat afterward. We also have a fish cleaning station and boat parking options for guests back at the park, making it easier to return from a day on the water and get settled back at your RV.

Spacious RV Sites with Full Hookups
Our RV sites come with full hookups, including 30/50 amp electrical service, water, and sewer. The existing sites feature concrete wheel runners with a concrete patio rather than a full concrete pad, and the current sites are back-in only. The original section of the park has about 30 sites, while construction is underway to add more than 50 additional sites. We’re improving the property while preserving the quiet, shaded character that guests already enjoy.
